Film Bazaar: In 2083, ‘Lali Bazaar’ earned about 8 crores, how much did the other 7 films earn?

Kathmandu. This year, the film ‘Lalibazaar’ has earned the highest among the films released so far in 2083 BS.

According to the data released by Film Development Board, the movie has earned around 8 crores till Saturday, May 29. According to the ‘Cinepa-2’ box office under the board, the film ‘Lali Bazaar’ has earned Rs 7,90,31,476 till last Saturday.

In the same period, a total of 196,406 tickets were sold for the movie ‘Lali Bazaar’ starring actress Swastima Khadka. Actor Ravindra Singh Baniya said that the success of the movie in the domestic market has excited all the members associated with the movie.

“The love we have received from the audience has paid off our hard work. This time, we showed the impact of the light of education on society and individuals along with entertainment as a social responsibility, which the audience liked. “This movie gives the message that life cannot be bright without education,” he said. According to him, the audience has praised the subject, the directorial aspect, and the lively acting of the actors all over Nepal.

The movie also features Samaira Thapa, Mukunda Kumar Shrestha, Abhay Baral, Bishal Devkota, Prasansha Subedi and others. Similarly, the movie ‘Paral ko Aago’ which was released on April 24 has earned Rs 4,27,84,445. A total of 1,54,034 tickets have been sold for the movie produced by Sushil Pokharel.

The movie features Prakash Saput, Suhana Thapa, Saugat Malla, Srijana Adhikari and others. Similarly, Nepali movie ‘Malti Mangale’, which has been released since April 25, has earned Rs 51,73,793. A total of 16,188 tickets have been sold for the film. The movie features Barsha Raut, Bijaya Baral, Maxim Gaudel and others. Directed by Praku Pandey, the film has not been able to do well in the domestic market.

The movie ‘Guru Aama’, which was released on April 8, has earned Rs 29,42,576. A total of 9,327 tickets have been sold for the film. The movie features Mithila Sharma, Gauri Malla, Buddhi Tamang, Tika Sanu, Sushma Thapa, Sushil Pokharel, Dhruba Koirala, Uttam KC, Giri Bahadur Pun and others.

Similarly, Nepali movie ‘Ek Mutthi Badal’ which was released on May 14 has earned Rs 521,825. Directed by Sahara Sharma, a total of 1,505 tickets have been sold. The movie features Aanchal Sharma, Sahay Adhikari, Usha Rajak, Nisha Sharma and others.

The movie ‘Life Damage’, which was released on May 15, has earned Rs 33,26,320. Directed by Nimesh Shrestha, a total of 10,855 tickets have been sold. The movie features Surakshya Panta, Nimesh Shrestha, Esha Thapa, Sanjana Maharjan, Amogh Aryal, Anish Jung Thapa, Ajay Panta, Sabin Bastola, Niru Khadka and others.

Similarly, two films ‘Kazi’ and ‘Mitjyu’ released on May 8 have not received good response from the audience. These two films did not do good business in the first week. The movie ‘Kazi’, starring Bipin Karki, Keki Adhikari and Garima Sharma has earned Rs 4 million 88 thousand 175. Directed by Laxman Rijal, a total of 13,000 tickets have been sold. Produced by Ram Prasad Rijal, the movie depicted a love story of rural areas.

The movie ‘Mitjyu’, which was released on May 22, has earned Rs 1,20,59,082 in the same period. The movie directed by Anil Budha Magar has sold a total of 41,248 tickets. The movie features actors Saugat Malla, Dayahang Rai, Teriya Fauja Magar and others.

According to the data released at the ‘Cinepa 2’ box office under the board, ‘Lali Bazaar’ is the highest grossing movie in the domestic market among the films released till mid-June this year. The Film Development Board (FDB) officially releases the earnings of Nepali films every Monday.
