Kathmandu. Police have arrested a fugitive who was sentenced to two years in jail on a cheque dishonour case from Budhanilkantha.

The arrested is 67-year-old Phanindra Nepal of Budhanilkantha municipality-10, according to spokesperson of Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office and Superintendent of Police Rameshwor Karki.

He said that he was arrested from Katari Basti of Budhanilkantha-10 after being sentenced to two years imprisonment by the Kathmandu District Court in the cheque dishonour case (077-C4-1615) against plaintiff Yubaraj Khatri and defendant Phanindra Nepal.

The arrestee has been sent to Kathmandu District Court, Babarmahal for the execution of court verdict, Karki said.
