Kathmandu. The CPN-UML has announced that it will leave the Far-Western government if the budget is not amended. A meeting of the CPN-UML’s Province Committee held on Sunday has decided to quit the government if the budget is not amended. 

The UML has concluded that the provincial government has unilaterally allocated the budget for the coming fiscal year 2083/84 and not as per the agreement, policy andprogram of the joint government.

The CPN-UML has demanded more programs and budget for the people of the poor areas, saying has not been allocated in the budget.Expressing dissatisfaction over the budget, the CPN-UML Far-West has decided to leave the government if necessary amendments are not made in the budget.

Similarly, the UML has also expressed dissatisfaction with the budget of the federal government.The UML has also demanded that Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen)’s statement on border issue be removed from the record.
