Kathmandu. The Supreme Court has extended the term of former Finance Minister and UML Vice-Chairman Bishnu Po udel for the third time. A division bench of Justices Hemanta Rawal , Dil li Ratna Shrestha and Umesh Koirala on Tuesday extended the judicial custody of Poud el for six days. 

The Department of Money Laundering had arrested Poudel from Surkhet on June 22 in connection with a case of money laundering of property . 

According to the department, he was arrested in connection with the investigation of suspicious sources of {{} share transactions and assets. His remand has already been extended twice.
