Kathmandu. The government led by Prime Minister Balendra Shah has distributed 89,194.44 metric tonnes of subsidized chemical fertilizers in the last 100 days.
At a press conference organized at Singha Durbar, government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel said the subsidized chemical fertilizers were distributed through Agriculture Inputs Company Limited and Salt Trading Corporation during the period.
A total of 53,716.45 metric tonnes of subsidized chemical fertilizers have been distributed by the Agriculture Inputs Company Limited and 35,478.10 metric tonnes by the Salt Trading Corporation since mid-April 2082.
The government has also issued the Subsidized Fertilizer Distribution Management (Second Amendment Procedure), 2083 BS to systematize and make the release of chemical fertilizer distribution companies systematic, objective and practical.
