Kathmandu. Arjun Ghimire has been appointed as the chairman of Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA). The last meeting of the Council of Ministers has decided to appoint Ghimire to the post of chairman of NRA. 

Ghimire, who has been appointed as the chairman of the NRA, will take oath of office and secrecy today at the Ministry of Information and Communications ( Monday).

Prior to this, he was the head of the Economic Analysis and Consumer Interest Protection Division of the NEA. The government appointed Ghimire the chairman after the then chairman Bhupendra Bhandari was relieved of his post through an ordinance.
