Indian envoy pays courtesy call on PM Shah

Kathmandu. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Navin Srivastava paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Balendra Shah at the latter’s office in New Delhi today. Prime Minister Shah and Srivastava met on Monday.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the two leaders discussed various matters of Nepal-India relations, bilateral friendship, mutual interests, development partnership and collaboration, according to PM’s press and research expert Deepa Dahal.

Prime Minister Shah stressed on the need to work together in areas of common interest to further strengthen the historical relation with India.

Ambassador Srivastava also extended best wishes to the Prime Minister for his successful term in office and pledged to further strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries. Meanwhile, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Zhang Maoming is also scheduled to call on the Chinese Prime Minister today itself.
