Kathmandu. A total of 8 people have applied for the post of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)(CEO) of Nepal Stock Exchange(NEPSE). As of August 10, 8 people have applied for the post of CEO of NEPSE. 

The Ministry of Finance had invited applications for the post of CEO of Nepse through open competition. 

According to the Ministry of Finance, only 8 people have applied so far. According to the official, the process of evaluation of the business action plan submitted by the sponsors will be initiated.

Initially, the selection committee formed for the appointment of NEPSE CEO will shortlist the names of the best candidates out of 8 candidates. Those on the shortlist will submit their plan of action and will have an interview with . After the completion of all the processes, a new CEO of NEPSE will be appointed. It will take another 3 weeks to appoint a new CEO of Nepse.
