Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for today.

According to the committee, tomato big (Nepali) has been sold at Rs 70 per kg, tomato big (Indian) at Rs 80 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 30 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 58 per kg, potato red (long) at Rs 51 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 53 per kg, potato red (mudhe) at Rs 53 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 37 per kg, potato white (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 58 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) is Rs 120 per kg, carrot (Terai) at Rs 80 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 40 per kg, cabbage (Terai) at Rs 40 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 100 per kg, red radish at Rs 30 per kg, white radish at Rs 30 per kg, white radish at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 50 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 60 per kg.

According to the committee, beans Rs 100 per kg, maize beans Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 90 per kg, tatte beans Rs 80 per kg, soybean beans Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 50 per kg, bottle gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Chichindo Rs 30 per kg. The price of cucumber has been increased to Rs 60 per kg, cucumber to Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (dallo) to Rs 60 per kg, okra to Rs 50 per kg, pindalu to Rs 100 per kg and squash to Rs 60 per kg.

Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg, spinapples at Rs 250 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 100 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 200 per kg, mushroom (ole) at Rs 280 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 400 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 330 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.

Likewise, chicken has been fixed at Rs 500 per kg, broccoli at Rs 150 per kg, beetroot at Rs 70 per kg, Sajeevan at Rs 300 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, Jiri greens at Rs 500 per kg, Celery at Rs 250 per kg, Parsley at Rs 150 per kg, Fennel greens at Rs 150 per kg, mint at Rs 500 per kg, Gangteradish at Rs 150 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 160 per kg, Tofu at Rs 160 per kg and Gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.

Dragon fruit (Nepali) Rs 500 per kg, ginger Rs 230 per kg, chilli dried at Rs 550 per kg, chilli green (lamcho) Rs 90 per kg, chilli green (bullet) Rs 90 per kg, chilli green (fish) Rs 60 per kg, chilli green (Akbare) Rs 300 per kg, sheep chilli Rs 80 per kg, garlic green chili Rs 180 per kg, green coriander Rs 300 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 240 per kg. Likewise, the price of dried garlic (Nepali) has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, dried fish at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish (rahu) at Rs 370 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 330 per kg and fresh fish (Chhadi) at Rs 330 per kg.
