Kathmandu. Gen-G The families of the martyrs and the injured will be given tax exemption while purchasing vehicles. The government has decided to give 100 percent tax exemption to the martyrs and injured of the Gen-G movement while purchasing vehicles for self-employment purposes. 

The Ministry of Finance has informed about the government’s decision by publishing a notice in the gazette. 

As per the integrated package approved by the Government of Nepal, will be given full exemption on the tax levied on the purchase of petrol/diesel up to Rs 15 lakh or electric vehicles worth Rs 2 million.

However, the Ministry of Finance has stated that the exemption will not be available for the purchase of snow vehicles, golf cars and similar vehicles and stations wagons and racing cars and vehicles under various subheadings and unassembled undervarious subheadings.According to the ministry, this discount will be valid only for the current fiscal year.
