Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shahhas said that more than Rs 7..88 billion has been deposited in the ‘Prime Minister Natural Disaster Relief Fund . Federal In his address to the Parliament, Prime Minister Shah said that Rs 7.88 billion has been deposited in the fund.

The Prime Minister also said that Rs 1 billion has been allocated for effective disaster management and relief works.

Out of the amount released in the name of National Disaster Mitigation and Management Authority (NDMA), Rs 67.5 million has been released in the name of 15 local levels, the Prime Minister said.

Similarly, Prime Minister Shah said that relief and rehabilitation works would be expedited by sending the budget directly to the local levels in the flood-affected areas.
