Kathmandu. The government has decided to give Rs 15,000 monthly to the flood-affected people. The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting held on Sunday.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Bikram Timilsina said that the government has decided to provide the amount to the flood-affected families as monthly housing expenses until permanent housing is constructed.

According to him, a family of up to 4 members will be provided Rs 15,000 per month while a family with more than four members will be provided Rs 2,000 for every additional 1 member.
