Kathmandu. This time new notes will not be available in Dashain. The bank which has not distributed new notes in Dashain for the last two years has decided not to distribute new notes this year as well.

Instead of the new bank, the bank is preparing to distribute dry notes .

The official of the Rastra Bank said that there is a lot of dry notes in the market and there is no need to distribute new notes. However, thebank has not made a formal decision to distribute dry notes instead of new notes in this year’s Dashain.

On the other hand, {{} is preparing to use the dry notes in Dashain as much as possible as the life span of the notes will be shortened due to tika, abir and oil products, according to the officials of the Rastra Bank .
