Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank’s AGM Approves 15% Dividend

Kathmandu. The 20th Annual General Meeting of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has been concluded. The AGM of the bank was held on September 14 at Amrapali Banquet, Bhatbhateni, Kathmandu.

The AGM, chaired by Mr. Sudip Acharya, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank, approved a cash dividend of 9% of the total paid-up capital (including tax) to its shareholders for the period from the date of allotment of preference shares to mid-July 2083.

In addition, the AGM unanimously approved the auditor’s report along with the annual financial statement, balance sheet, profit or loss account for the fiscal year 2082/83 and the schedules related to the financial statements related to the cash flow statement, profit and loss allocation account of the same fiscal year. The meeting also passed a resolution to appoint the external auditor NBSM & Associates.

Chairman of the bank Sudip Acharya and Chief Executive Officer Dinesh Thakali responded to the queries raised by the shareholders in the AGM. Responding to the queries raised by the shareholders, the Chief Executive Officer of the bank, Dinesh Thakali, said that the bank has been able to distribute dividends in double digits and is committed to make the organization sustainable and strong in the coming days.
