KATHMANDU: The Muktinath Foundation, which was established with the objective of providing positive transformation to the socially and economically backward individuals and communities by directly supporting them, has organized a massive blood donation program on the occasion of its anniversary.

The foundation, which was registered on September 15, 2078 as a non-profit organization, has been working as a strong social organization for the empowerment of the targeted people and communities.

The foundation had been conducting various activities in the social sector in the past as well. According to the foundation, 65 packets of blood were collected in the blood donation program organized on the occasion of the anniversary.

Nepal Red Cross Society provided technical support to the program. Similarly, Muktinath Development Bank, Muktinath Agriculture Company Limited, Muktinath Capital Limited, Royal Cooperative Limited, Bindhyabasini Music Pvt. Ltd. and MN Hospital participated in the program and coordinated.
