London, United Kingdom- July 20, 2025- The London Chapter of the globally renowned business network CEO Club Global has officially signed an agreement to acquire 85% ownership of Tesla Group Europe (Tesla Group a.s.).
According to the agreement, Tesla’s leadership structure has undergone a major transformation. Dr. Shambhu Pokharel, the Global CEO of CEO Club Global, has been appointed as the President of Tesla Group. With this appointment, for the first time in history, a Nepalese citizen has become the President of one of the world’s most prestigious technology and energy companies — a remarkable moment of pride and recognition for Nepal on the global stage.
“This is not just a business deal,” said Dr. Pokharel. “It is the global acknowledgment of Nepalese talent. Our shared goal now is to build Tesla Group into a multi-billion-dollar gigafactory and global innovation hub.”
Following the acquisition, all operations, investment management, and international expansion of Tesla will be led by a newly established UK-based holding company named Tesla Energy Europe Ltd. This company will oversee Tesla’s expansion plans across several European countries.
Tesla’s Co-Founder and current CEO, Mr. Dušan Lichardus, will continue in his role and also serve as a board member of Tesla Energy Europe Ltd, ensuring leadership continuity and collaborative growth.
