Jyotsna Shrestha objects to the arrest of businessman on charge

Kathmandu. Jyotsna Shrestha, Associate Vice President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has expressed serious concern over the recent arrest of some businessmen on the basis of allegations.

She said that the private sector has been demoralized by the detention of businessmen without proper investigation and solid evidence.Vice-chairperson Shrestha said it would not be justified to take action against any person without being found guilty or conducting adequate investigations. 

He argues that the trend of detention without evidence is weakening the confidence and confidence of the entire business sector.She stressed that the state should first investigate and take action.

‘The main demand that we have been raising time and again is to listen to all sides and conduct a serious investigation and then take necessary legal action if found guilty. “, she said.

She also called on businessmen across the country to unite and say that the time has come to raise their voice more strongly and clearly against the problems of the private sector and such actions.He said that the entire private sector needs to take this issue forward comprehensively for professional safety and respect.
