Kathmandu. An additional 304 savers of the troubled cooperatives have got their money back. The problematic cooperative management committee has returned the money to 304 small savers of Agriculture Cooperative and Shiva Shikhar Multipurpose Cooperative. 

According to the committee, 88 of them were from agriculture cooperatives and 216 from Shiva Shikhar. 

According to the committee, in the first phase, small savers who have a small savings in the cooperative will be refunded.The committee has categorized savers with less than Rs 5 lakh savings into small and those with more than Rs 5 lakh as large savers. 

The committee is currently refunding the money to small savers. Earlier, the committee had refunded the amount paid to 215 people of Kantipur Cooperative, 156 of Shiva Shikhar Cooperatives and seven of Pashupati Cooperative. 

According to the committee, about Rs 46 billion is yet to be returned to the savings of about 76,000 savers in the problematic cooperative. Most of them are small savers.
