Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (NEP SE) has sought clarification from the Rural Development Laghubitta. NEPSE has sought an explanation from the Rural Development Committee for not disclosing the price-sensitive information on time. 

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the microfinance company held on May 17 had decided to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year 2081/82 (2081/82). 

According to the Securities Listing Byelaws, 2075 (2075), a notice affecting the price of securities should be made public on the same day or the next day before opening the transaction.However, the microfinance company had informed NEPSE about this information only on May 7. 

According to NEPSE, the microfinance company has uploaded the information on NEPSE’s NOT S system at 9:33 on May 2 3 at 09:33 am. 

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has directed the microfinance company to submit clarification within 3 days for the delay in making public the information affecting the price of microfinance.
