Chhaya Center’s land dispute: Guthi got ‘clean chit’ in 2077 BS

It has been revealed that the land of Chhayadevi Complex (Chhaya Center) has received a ‘clean chit’ 5 years ago.It has been revealed that the Bahu Garud Bhagwan Guthi had given a ‘clean chit’ in 2077 BS stating that there was no dispute over the land where the Shadow Center was constructed.

Guthi had issued a letter on October 11, 2020 clarifying that there was no dispute over the land of the Chhaya Center. 

Thus, on Chaitra 14, 2047 B. S., of the land was built in the name of Ambika Rana and Shankar Prasad Shah and the land owner became the landlord

On 18th Magh 2047, it was decided to transfer the plots of land in the name of Rana and Shah.However, the Guthi Sansthan had taken another decision on Chaitra 14, 1990 revoking the decision. Rana had filed a writ petition at the Patan Appellate Court against this decision. 

In that case, the court upheld the first decision of the Guthi Sansthan and annulled the latest decision of the Sansthan. 

A separate case was filed at the Kathmandu District Court against the Guthiars Thakali against the appellate court’s decision.During the hearing of the same case, the District Court had reached a settlement between the two parties on July 30, 2005. Since then, the Guthi had given a clean chit to the Chhayadevi Complex on October 1 2, 2020, stating that there was no dispute over the land.
