Kathmandu. Mand u Hydropower Limited has decided to distribute 10% Bonus Share and Cash Dividend to its shareholders.The 225th meeting of the Board of Directors of the company approved the proposal of distributing dividend from the accumulated profit of the financial year 2081/82.

The dividend has been proposed on the basis of the income and accumulated profit from the 35 MW Bagmati Small Hydropower Project which is promoted by the company. 

As per the decision, 10 percent of the existing paid-up capital of Rs 1, will be issued bonus shares worth Rs 13,63,63,700.

Similarly, the company has proposed to distribute a cash dividend of Rs 7,177,037 equivalent to 0.0.5263 of the paid-up capital for tax purposes on bonus shares.

According to the company, the dividend proposal will be distributed to the shareholders after it is approved by the Electricity Regulatory Commission and the upcoming Annual General Meeting.The Board of Directors of Mand u Hydropower Company Limited (NSE) has decided to distribute the dividend to the shareholders of the company, informed the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Monday.
