Kathmandu. The price of chicken eggs has gone up. Nepal Layers Poultry Farmers’ Association has increased the price of eggs by Rs 15 per crate to be effective from Friday.

The price of egg has been increased to Rs 575 per crate, big egg at Rs 560 per crate and medium egg at Rs 530 per crate. Similarly, the price of a small egg has been increased by Rs 200 per box to Rs 3,200. Earlier, the price of a small egg was Rs 3,000 per box.

The association has fixed the price of eggs at Rs 25 per egg.

The association has urged all businessmen, farm operators and stakeholders to carry out business as per the new price.
