Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons on the charge of cheating people on the pretext of lucrative foreign employment. The arrestees have been identified as Pradeep Kumar Shrestha of Okhaldhunga and Kabita Belbase of Shivaraj, Kapilvastu.

According to the police, Pradeep Kumar went missing on the basis of a complaint that he had taken Rs 4 lakh from a person promising to send him to Cambodia and Rs 1.08 lakh from Kavita in the name of sending him to UAE.

A police team deputed from Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Teku arrested them from Kathmandu. They have been sent to the Department of Foreign Employment, Tahachal, Kathmandu for necessary investigation and action.
