Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for today.
According to the committee, tomato (Nepali) has been sold at Rs 50 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 36 per kg, potato red (long) at Rs 48 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 46 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 46 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 36 per kg, white potato at Rs 38 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg.
Similarly, the price of carrot (local) has been increased at Rs 110 per kg, carrot (terai at Rs 90 per kg), cabbage (local) at Rs 35 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 70 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 25 per kg, red radish at Rs 35 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 40 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 60 per kg.
According to the committee, beans are sold at Rs 90 per kg, maize beans at Rs 50 per kg, ghee beans (local) at Rs 130 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) at Rs 120 per kg, ghee beans (rajma) at Rs 100 per kg, tata beans at Rs 80 per kg, soybean beans at Rs 120 per kg, bitter gourd at Rs 50 per kg, gourd at Rs 70 per kg, parwar (local) at Rs 50 per kg, Parwar (Terai) at Rs 50 per kg. The price of chichindo has been increased to Rs 30 per kg, ghiraula at Rs 60 per kg, jhiguni at Rs 70 per kg, farsi green (lamcho) at Rs 90 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 40 per kg, okra at Rs 50 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 120 per kg and pindalu at Rs 100 per kg.
Likewise, mustard has been fixed at Rs 110 per kg, onion at Rs 100 per kg, mushroom at Rs 260 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 300 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Likewise, chicken has been fixed at Rs 400 per kg, niguro at Rs 100 per kg, broccoli at Rs 110 per kg, beetroot at Rs 70 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, cumin greens at Rs 100 per kg, celery at Rs 200 per kg, parsley at Rs 500 per kg, mint at Rs 300 per kg, carrots at Rs 90 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 160 per kg, tofu at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.
Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 250, banana (Malbhog) Rs 200, lemon Rs 180 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 160 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 170 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 70 per kg, junar Rs 300 per kg, pineapple Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg. Likewise, jackfruit has been fixed at Rs 50 per kg, pineapple (local) at Rs 110 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, Indian papaya at Rs 120 per kg, coconut (raw) at Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) at Rs 170 per kg.
Ginger Rs 230 per kg, dried chillies Rs 500 per kg, chillies green (lamcho) Rs 70 per kg, chillies green (bullet) Rs 70 per kg, chillies green (fish) Rs 50 per kg, chillies green (Akbare) Rs 250 per kg, sheep chillies Rs 60 per kg, green garlic Rs 100 per kg, green coriander Rs 200 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 220 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 200 per kg. The price of dried fish has been fixed at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg and fish at Rs 300 per kg.
