Kathmandu. The District Customs Office, Tilathi, Belhi, Saptari has collected more than Rs 70 million in revenue in the last fiscal year. The office collected Rs 74.2 million in revenue in the last fiscal year 2082/83.

According to the office’s information officer Bijay Kumar Sah, the office collected revenue of Rs 7.42 billion against the annual target of Rs 81.71 million in the fiscal year 2082/83.

In the previous fiscal year 2081/82, the office had collected 80.93 per cent of the annual target. Information Officer Sah said that 90 per cent of the targeted revenue collection should be considered satisfactory at a time when the roads and bridges leading to the customs point have been affected due to dilapidated condition for a long time.
