Kathmandu. The Commission for Investigation on Assets has suspended all works related to property details collection and investigation.

Issuing a notice, the NHRC stated that the investigation has been put on hold until the final settlement of the writ petition as per the Supreme Court’s order on July 31.

The CIAA had been collecting property details of political officials and employees with public accountability responsibilities except former judges, former office-bearers of constitutional commissions and former office-bearers of the Nepal Army.

The commission had set the deadline for submission of property details till date.
