Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Friday.

According to the committee, tomato big (Nepali) at Rs 50 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 20 per kg, tomato small (local) at Rs 20 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 39 per kg, potato red (lamcho) at Rs 48 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 47 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg, potato white (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg and onion dried (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) is Rs 110 per kg, carrot (terai Rs 90 per kg), cabbage (local) Rs 30 per kg, cauliflower local Rs 100 per kg, white radish (hybrid) Rs 30 per kg, white radish (hybrid) Rs 25 per kg, brinjal lamcho Rs 50 per kg and brinjal dalo Rs 60 per kg.

According to the committee, beans Rs 120 per kg, maize beans Rs 70 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 130 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 130 per kg, tate beans Rs 90 per kg, soybean beans Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 70 per kg, gourd Rs 70 per kg, Parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Parwar (Terai) Rs 60 per kg, Chichindo Rs 40 per kg. The price of cucumber has been increased to Rs 100 per kg, Jhiguni Rs 80 per kg, ripe Farsi Rs 60 per kg, green Farsi (dallo) at Rs 70 per kg, okra at Rs 80 per kg, Pindalu at Rs 100 per kg and isquash at Rs 60 per kg.

Mustard has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, spinach at Rs 120 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 120 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 100 per kg, mushroom (ole) at Rs 280 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 450 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.

Likewise, the price of cucumber has been fixed at Rs 400 per kg, niguro at Rs 100 per kg, broccoli at Rs 120, beetroot at Rs 70 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, jiri greens at Rs 100 per kg, celery at Rs 200 per kg, parsley at Rs 500 per kg, fennel greens at Rs 120 per kg, mint at Rs 300 per kg, carrots at Rs 120 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 160 per kg, tofu at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.

Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 200, lemon Rs 220 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 180 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 180 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 70 per kg, junar Rs 300 per kg, pineapple (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (hybrid) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 60 per kg. Similarly, tree jackfruit has been fixed at Rs 50 per kg, local pears at Rs 120 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, Indian dry fruits at Rs 120 per kg, coconut (raw) at Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) at Rs 170 per kg.

Ginger Rs 230 per kg, dried chillies Rs 500 per kg, chilli green (lamb) Rs 60 per kg, chilli green (bullet) Rs 50 per kg, chilli green (fish) Rs 70 per kg, chilli green (Akbare) Rs 250 per kg, sheep chilli Rs 70 per kg, garlic green chilli Rs 120 per kg, green coriander Rs 300 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 240 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) Rs 200 per kg. Likewise, the price of dried fish has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, fish at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg.
