Kathmandu. The Government of India has sent the second phase of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to the flood victims of Rasuwa. Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has informed through social media that 37.5 tons of supplies have been sent to Nepal.
“India is in regular touch with the authorities in Nepal, we are committed to providing assistance in disaster relief. “He said.
Earlier, the Indian government had sent 10 tonnes of relief materials to the flood affected people of Rasuwa on Wednesday night. He said that humanitarian aid, disaster relief, food and essential medicines have been sent to Nepal for the flood victims.
