Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank donates Rs 25 lakh to Rasuwa flood victims

Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs 2.5 million to the people affected by the floods in the Bhotekoshi River of Rasuwa on September 24.

As per the decision of the Board of Directors of the bank, it has been decided to contribute a total of Rs 25 lakh under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the bank and Rs 15 lakh as one day’s salary of the employees working in the bank. The amount has been deposited in the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund.

The bank believes that this assistance will further support the relief and rescue operations to address the immediate needs of the families and communities affected by natural disasters. As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank has been continuously supporting various disaster-affected communities, humanitarian assistance and social welfare.

The bank expressed its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The bank also extended its best wishes for the safe and easy life of all the affected citizens.

The bank has expressed its heartfelt gratitude to the security personnel, government and non-governmental organizations, local governments, volunteers and all the helping hands who are actively involved in rescue, relief and management during the time of disaster. The bank has also appealed to all the stakeholders to help in relief and rehabilitation of the affected communities in this difficult time of natural disaster.
