Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Sunday.

According to the committee, the price of tomato big (Nepali) at Rs 50 per kg, tomato big (Indian) at Rs 70 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 25 per kg, potato red (lamcho) at Rs 51 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 52 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg, potato white (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg and onion (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) has been increased at Rs 120 per kg, carrot (terai at Rs 80 per kg), cabbage (local) at Rs 35 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 100 per kg, red radish at Rs 30 per kg, white radish at Rs 20 per kg, white radish (local) at Rs 15 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 50 per kg and brinjal dalo at Rs 60 per kg.

According to the committee, beans Rs 70 per kg, maize beans Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 120 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 120 per kg, tate beans Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 70 per kg, bottle gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Chichindo Rs 30 per kg. Likewise, cucumber has been sold at Rs 60 per kg, cucumber at Rs 70 per kg, cucumber at Rs 60 per kg, green farsi (dallo) at Rs 70 per kg, okra at Rs 50 per kg, sweet potato at Rs 120 per kg, pindalu at Rs 100 per kg and squash at Rs 60 per kg.

Mustard has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, spinach at Rs 300 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 150 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 200 per kg, mushroom (ole) at Rs 260 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 400 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.

Cucumber is sold at Rs 500 per kg, niguro at Rs 100 per kg, broccoli at Rs 120 per kg, beetroot at Rs 70 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, Sajivan at Rs 300 per kg, Jiri greens at Rs 200 per kg, Celery at Rs 200 per kg, Parsley at Rs 500 per kg, Fennel greens at Rs 200 per kg, mint at Rs 500 per kg, Gangteradish at Rs 200 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 160 per kg. Tofu has been fixed at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.

Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Malbhog) Rs 200, lemon Rs 180 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 200 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 200 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 70 per kg, pineapple Rs 300 per kg, pineapple Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 40 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 15 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 15 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 35 per kg. Likewise, jackfruit has been fixed at Rs 50 per kg, pears (local) at Rs 90 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, papaya (Indian) at Rs 120 per kg, lapsi at Rs 60 per kg, amla at Rs 280 per kg, coconut (raw) at Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) at Rs 170 per kg.

Dragon fruit (Nepali) Rs 400 per kg, ginger Rs 230 per kg, dried chillies Rs 550 per kg, chillies green (lamcho) Rs 60 per kg, chilli green (bullet) Rs 60 per kg, chilli green (fish) Rs 70 per kg, chilli green (Akbare) Rs 200 per kg, sheep chilli Rs 90 per kg, garlic green chili Rs 200 per kg, green coriander Rs 300 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) Rs 240 per kg. Likewise, the price of dried garlic (Nepali) has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, dried fish at Rs 200 per kg, fish at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish (rahu) at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish (bachuwa) at Rs 300 per kg and fresh fish (Chhadi) at Rs 300 per kg.
