Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has decided to appoint Deepak Kumar Sah as the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies after the resignation of the then Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav.

A source close to the Prime Minister confirmed that Bal en has already held discussions with Rabi Lamichhane, president of the Rastriya Samajwadi Party (RPP), on the issue of appointing Shah as the Industry Minister.

According to sources, a recommendation has been sent to the President’s Office with the decision of Bal en regarding the appointment of Shah as the Minister of Industry. Shah is set to be sworn in today (Thursday).

Sah is a lawmaker elected from Sunsari-4. Yadav resigned from the post on Thursday.
