Kathmandu. The information officer of Aarambh Chautari Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Manrupa Poudel has clarified that she did not call the employees to work on holidays. On the basis of the complaint of the employees that they were being forced to work even on holidays, she said that she did not call the employees to work on holidays.

Poudel, who did not come in contact even after calling about half a dozen times in the beginning, later contacted the financial concern and said that the organization also has a holiday on public holidays.

However, while he was saying that he was on leave and the head office was also closed, the employees of the branch were complaining that he was forced to work even on holidays.

You are on leave but the employees are working, right? To our question, she said, “Some friends may have opened the office spontaneously considering the pressure and needs of the } work. Otherwise, we have not asked to come and work on holidays. ’ 

When we talked about the instructions received through the WhatsApp group, she said that she was not aware of the matter. “I was also on leave in the middle due to health problems. But the day of public holiday (Saturday/Sunday) is a holiday. “In the meantime, I did not know if the employees were called to work even on leave.’

Moreover, she claimed that although other microfinance companies call employees to work on Sundays, and give Saturday and Sunday holidays.

‘On the contrary, other micro finance employees have been called to work on Sunday as well, but we have given a holiday on Sunday. Talking to Finance Sarokar, she said, “We have given two days off on Saturday and Sunday so that we should also give leave after the government gave a holiday.” ’

Employees of the microfinance company who contacted the bank on Sunday complained that the organization calls them to work even on holidays but does not provide extra salary or allowances.

According to the employee, they get a message on WhatsApp from the HR department asking to open the office even on holidays. After receiving the message, they have to reply to the message saying that they have opened the office. The employees have said that if they do not open the office, they ask for clarification unnecessarily and till the transfer.
