Kathmandu. The case of Prabhu Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suman Sharma has been heard in the bench of Devi Kumari Chaudhary. Sharma, who surrendered before the police on Tuesday{{}} has been heard in the Parsa District Court.

Thebench of Justice Chaudhary will hear the case on whether Sharma should be sent to jail on bail or on general date.

Sharma is accused of auctioning the mortgage even after approving the loan while was in the then Sunrise Bank. A case has been registered against him for cheating and criminal breach of trust.

The case was filed against four persons including Sharma on the complaint filed by Nirmala Devi, the proprietor of Anjali International.

Sharma, who was absconding after an arrest warrant was issued in the same case, surrendered on Tuesday. Sharma, who is in police custody, will be produced before the court shortly.
