Kathmandu. Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has initiated the process of merging the LPG industries with each other. The corporation has initiated the process of merging industries with each other at the initiative of Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Deepak Kumar Sah.

The corporation has approved the policy and program of the current fiscal year 2083/84. According to Point No. 32, it will continue the policy of merging the LP gas industries operating under different names and brands.

In this context, the NOC has sent a letter to all the gas industries on October 28, 2083 requesting them to encourage the merger policy and to forward the process by formulating an action plan accordingly.

The initiative is expected to help make the gas sales and distribution system more systematic, convenient and consumer-friendly.
