Kathmandu. Office-bearers of Nepal Stock Brokers Association and Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has met. A meeting was held between the Association and the Finance Minister at the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
During the meeting, the Association demanded the government to resolve the problems of securities brokers, to implement the remaining suggestions given by the capital market reform task force and to make arrangements for the banks and financial institutions to enter and exit the capital market at the earliest

The stock market has been demoralized due to the fluctuations in the stock market immediately after the formation of the new government. For this reason, the association has demanded to create an environment where the money in the name of various funds in government institutions can be easily invested in the secondary market to boost the morale of investors.
Likewise, it has been suggested to make arrangements for easy share trading in the secondary market for non-resident Nepali citizens and to clarify that capital gains tax is the final tax through the upcoming budget.
