Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested three persons on the charge of bri bery related to building construction in Dhankuta and Bhojpur districts.

According to the CIAA, Suman Rai, an engineer at the Intensive Urban and Building Construction Project, Dhankuta, Indra Bahadur Karki and Sub-Engineer Rabin Shrestha had taken bribe of Rs 85,000 from service seekers by obstructing the final bill payment process for the construction of the school building in Bhojpur ।

The CIAA team arrested Suman Rai from Lalitpur and Karki and Shrestha from Itahari, Dhankuta and Bhojpur. 

Ganesh Bahadur Adhikari, assistant spokesperson of the CIAA, said that further investigation is underway against them .
