Kathmandu. The government has increased the vehicle fare for electric vehicles. The government has increased the fare of passenger vehicles on Wednesday, however, in the case of electric vehicles (EVs).

The Department of Transport Management (DoTM) has clarified that the increased fare rate will not be applicable in the case of EV vehicles.

According to the department, the fare adjusted due to the increase in the price of petroleum products will be applicable only on fuel vehicles.
