Kathmandu. Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality has awarded Unique Paneru with a cash prize of one lakh rupees and a letter of felicitation. Paneru was honoured at a programme organized on the occasion of the Republic Day as per the programme implemented by the rural municipality last year.
“Last year, the rural municipality had announced to award Rs one lakh to the students scoring four GPA in the SEE. According to Bishnu Bhatta, chairperson of the rural municipality, Paneru who passed the SEE from Shailputri Secondary School with four GPA was awarded at the hospital inauguration and prize distribution program held today. ’
Bhatta said that the rural municipality has provided Rs 10,000 each to seven students scoring 3.4 to 3.59 GPA and Rs 15,000 each to those scoring 3.60 GPA.
Similarly, 10 best teachers of grade 12, nine of grade 10, seven of grade 8 and six of grade 5 were also honoured with Rs 5,000 each.
