Kathmandu. The budget is being discussed in the House of Representatives from today (Monday). The meeting will discuss the budget for the fiscal year 2083/84.

For the next fiscal year, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle had presented a budget of Rs 2.124 trillion on May 29.

In the meeting of the House of Representatives scheduled for 1:00 pm on Monday, Minister Wagle will present a proposal seeking general discussion on the annual estimates of revenue and expenditure for the fiscal year 2083/84.

Lawmakers will take part in the discussion once the proposal is tabled in the parliament.
