Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, 2,445 drivers have been found violating traffic rules. This has contributed Rs 22,76,517 to the state exchequer.

According to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, 128 people were taken for drinking, 160 for ride-sharing, 141 for breaching signal lights and 183 for speeding.

Similarly, action taken for taking action of 43 for not following the lane discipline, 123 for blowing horn in prohibited areas, 14 for parking vehicles on the pavement, 166 for one-way driving and 1,487 for not following other traffic rules.
