Bagmati Province government allocates Rs 4 billion budget to 104 lawmakers

Kathmandu. The Bagmati Province government is preparing to allocate more than Rs 4 billion to the parliamentarians of Bagmati Province. The provincial government is preparing to distribute a budget of Rs 4.32 billion to 104 provincial assembly members. 

According to a minister of the provincial government, the provincial government is preparing to distribute the budget of Rs 5 and Rs 30 million to 10 4 law makers of seven political parties. 

The minister said that the government is preparing to distribute a budget of Rs 3 billion at the rate of Rs 50 million to 60 first-past-the-post ( MPs and Rs 1.32 billion to 44 members of the proportional representation category. 

In Bagmati Province, there are 36 lawmakers from Nepali Congress, 25 from UML, 26 from NCP, 12 from RPP, 3 from Nepal Workers and Peasants Party and 2 from Our Nepali Party.
