Kathmandu. Goods up to Rs 500 can be brought to Nepal from India. Through the budget, the government has increased the limit of goods to be brought to Nepal from India to Rs 500 as per the provision of related to Jhitigunta.
With this, goods up to Rs 500 can be brought to Nepal from India.
Earlier, the government had set such a limit at one hundred rupees.Earlier, the government had to pay customs duty on goods worth more than Rs 100, but the government has amended this limit to Rs 500 through the new Finance Bill.
Similarly, the Finance Bill has also made a provision to waive customs duty on one of the laptops, tablets or computers taken or brought by the students who have gone to India for studies.
