Kathmandu. The ‘First Trading Competition’ is going to be held in Nepal. The competition is being organized with the co-sponsorship of Chukul and Finance Concern.
According to Bimod Dev Panta, founder of Chukul, the competition will start from July 1 and will run till mid-July (1 month). According to Panta, the purpose of this ‘competition’ is to find out the trading behavior of the trader.
At the same time, do traders follow the rules to be followed while trading? Pant said that the purpose of the competition is to know about this and to teach them to control their trading behavior while trading in the stock market.
The participants of the competition will be given a virtual cash of Rs 20 lakh for paper trading. Out of this amount, the participants can invest a maximum of Rs 6,06,666 in a company. Participants in the competition will have to set a profit target and stop loss while trading.
On the other hand, the settlement will have to be done according to ‘T plus two’, while the company which has been trading more than Rs 1 crore continuously for the last 5 days can only be traded, Pant said.
At the end of the month-long competition, the winner will be announced on the basis of the method of the trader, whether the rules are followed or not, profit or loss and trading behavior. According to the organizers, the winner of the competition will be given a ‘Chukul Diamond Package’. Similarly, the second and third place winners will get the ‘Gold Package’ and the third place will get the ‘Basic Package’.
Participation in the competition can be done through the website . After the competition is over, a separate class will be conducted to find out the weaknesses in the trading behavior of the participants and to improve, the organizers said.
