Kathmandu. A total of 3,000 people have applied for the post of ambassador. As many as 3,000 people have applied for the post of ambassador after the government solicited applications. 

This time,the government is selecting ambassadors through open competition for the first time in Nepal’s history. 

The government will appoint 13 qualified ambassadors out of 3,000 applicants who have applied for the post of ambassador.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the preliminary selection process for ambassador selection will begin next week.
