Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2025/26, Myanmar earned about $220 million in foreign exchange by exporting more than 370,000 tons of fruits and vegetables. According to Secretary Pyathar of the agricultural of the agricultural products and of the of the agricultural products exported, {{} are the highest. 

The fruits and vegetables produced in Myanmar are exported to China, Thailand, Russia, Singapore, Japan and Malaysia. Secretary San said that the association has set a target of increasing the export target to 600,000 tons in the coming fiscal year 2026/27.

To further strengthen the future of Myanmar’s fruit and vegetable industry, the Association is focusing on the development of new export products. Also, necessary actions are being taken to achieve the set export targets and to ease the export process, officials said.
