Kathmandu. The price of gold has reached all- time high in the local market today. On Thursday, gold price went down by Rs 5,800 per tola and silver by Rs 155 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold is Rs 285,500 per tola today and the price of metal of white metal is Rs 4,350. On Thursday, the price of gold was Rs 291,300 per tola and the same amount of gold was traded at Rs 4,505 per tola.

On Wednesday, the price of silver was Rs 2.91 lakh while the price of silver was Rs 4,480 per tola. On Monday, the gold price had risen to Rs 2,85,600 per tola while silver was traded at Rs 4,370 per tola.

According to media reports, gold is being traded at USD 4,045 per ounce and silver at USD 57 per ounce in the international market today.
