Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for Sunday.
According to the committee, tomato (Nepali) has been sold at Rs 60 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 32 per kg, potato red (lamcho) at Rs 50 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 53 per kg, potato red (mudhe) at Rs 53 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg, potato white (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg, onion dried (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg.
Similarly, the price of carrot (local) is Rs 120 per kg, carrot (Terai) at Rs 90 per kg, cabbage (local) at Rs 30 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 110 per kg, red radish at Rs 40 per kg, white radish at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 60 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 70 per kg.
According to the committee, beans Rs 90 per kg, maize beans Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 130 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 130 per kg, tate beans Rs 120 per kg, soybean beans Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 60 per kg, gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Chichindo Rs 40 per kg. The price of cucumber has been increased to Rs 70 per kg, Jhiguni to Rs 80 per kg, Farsi to Rs 60 per kg, green Farsi (dallo) to Rs 70 per kg, okra to Rs 80 per kg, sweet potato to Rs 120 per kg, pindalu to Rs 100 per kg and squash to Rs 70 per kg.
Mustard has been fixed at Rs 250 per kg, spinach at Rs 300 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 150 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 200 per kg, mushroom (ole) at Rs 280 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 500 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 320 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.
Likewise, the price of cucumber has been fixed at Rs 500 per kg, niguro at Rs 100 per kg, broccoli at Rs 120, beetroot at Rs 70 per kg, red cabbage at Rs 40 per kg, cumeri greens at Rs 200 per kg, celery at Rs 200 per kg, parsley at Rs 500 per kg, fennel greens at Rs 200 per kg, mint at Rs 400 per kg, carrots at Rs 200 per kg, tamarind at Rs 180 per kg, copper at Rs 160 per kg, tofu at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.
Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Malbhog) Rs 200, lemon Rs 200 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 200 per kg, mango (Dussehra) Rs 200 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 70 per kg, junar Rs 300 per kg, pineapple Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 70 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 25 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 50 per kg. Likewise, the price of dried fish has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, fish at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg.
