Sanima Bank’s Net Profit and EPS Rise

Kathmandu. Sanima Bank’s net profit has increased. According to the bank’s net profit for the fourth quarter of the last FY, the net profit of the bank increased by 38.01 percent. In the review period, the bank earned a net profit of Rs 3.55 billion. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 2.57 billion in the same period last year.

According to the bank’s revised financial report, the bank’s net interest income increased to Rs 6.96 billion from Rs 6.35 billion.

Similarly, the bank earned Rs 1.32 billion from net fees and commission, while operating profit increased to Rs 5.16 billion from Rs 3.57 billion.

In the review period, the NPL of the bank decreased from 3.01 percent to 2.87 percent and non-performing loans decreased to 1.02 percent. During the period, the bank’s distributable profit stood at Rs 2.83 billion and distributable profit was Rs 20.85 per share.

Along with the profit, the bank’s earnings per share (EPS) has also increased during this period. The EPS of the bank increased by Rs 6.81 to Rs 25.75 in the fourth quarter. During this period, the net worth per share of the company has increased to Rs 188.42. The bank’s total deposit has increased from Rs 223 billion to Rs 249 billion and loan has increased from Rs 176 billion to Rs 195 billion.
