Kathmandu. The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale price of agricultural products for today.

According to the committee, tomato big (Nepali) has been sold at Rs 70 per kg, tomato big (Indian) at Rs 80 per kg, tomato small (tunnel) at Rs 40 per kg, potato red (long) at Rs 51 per kg, potato red (round) at Rs 52 per kg, potato red (Indian) at Rs 37 per kg, potato white (Indian) at Rs 35 per kg and onion dried (Indian) at Rs 57 per kg.

Similarly, the price of carrot (local) has been increased at Rs 120 per kg, carrot (terai at Rs 80 per kg), cabbage (local) at Rs 40 per kg, cauliflower local at Rs 100 per kg, red radish at Rs 30 per kg, white radish (hybrid) at Rs 30 per kg, brinjal lamcho at Rs 50 per kg and brinjal dal at Rs 60 per kg.

According to the committee, beans Rs 90 per kg, maize beans Rs 100 per kg, ghee beans (local) Rs 90 per kg, ghee beans (hybrid) Rs 90 per kg, tate beans Rs 100 per kg, soybean beans Rs 100 per kg, bitter gourd Rs 50 per kg, gourd Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, parwar (local) Rs 60 per kg, Chichindo Rs 30 per kg. Likewise, cucumber has been sold at Rs 40 per kg, Jhiguni at Rs 60 per kg, Persian Ripe at Rs 60 per kg, Green Farsi (dallo) at Rs 60 per kg, okra at Rs 60 per kg, Sakharkhan at Rs 120 per kg, Pindalu at Rs 100 per kg and squash at Rs 50 per kg.

Mustard has been fixed at Rs 150 per kg, spinach at Rs 250 per kg, mustard greens at Rs 120 per kg, onion (green) at Rs 150 per kg, mushroom (girl) at Rs 300 per kg, mushroom (dalle) at Rs 500 per kg, king mushroom at Rs 330 per kg and Sitake mushroom at Rs 1,000 per kg.

Cucumber Rs 450 per kg, Niguro Rs 100 per kg, Broccoli Rs 120 per kg, Beetroot Rs 70 per kg, Sajeevan Rs 300 per kg, Red Cabbage Rs 40 per kg, Jieri Greens Rs 400 per kg, Celery Rs 250 per kg, Parsley Rs 1400 per kg, Fennel greens Rs 150 per kg, Mint Rs 500 per kg, Guantradish Rs 150 per kg, Tamarind Rs 180 per kg, Copper Rs 160 per kg. Tofu has been fixed at Rs 160 per kg and gundruk at Rs 350 per kg.

Apple (Fuji) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Nepali) Rs 300 per kg, banana (Malbhog) Rs 200, lemon Rs 230 per kg, pomegranate Rs 500 per kg, mango (Maldaha) Rs 280 per kg, mango (chosa) Rs 250 per kg, watermelon (green) Rs 70 per kg, junar Rs 300 per kg, pineapple Rs 200 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 50 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 15 per kg, cucumber (local) Rs 40 per kg. Similarly, jackfruit has been fixed at Rs 60 per kg, pears (local) at Rs 90 per kg, papaya (Nepali) at Rs 90 per kg, papaya (Indian) at Rs 120 per kg, lapsi at Rs 60 per kg, amla at Rs 280 per kg, avocado at Rs 500 per kg, coconut (raw) at Rs 80 per kg and coconut (green) at Rs 170 per kg.

Dragon fruit (Nepali) at Rs 400 per kg, ginger at Rs 230 per kg, chilli dried at Rs 550 per kg, chilli green (lambcho) at Rs 70 per kg, chilli green (fish) at Rs 70 per kg, chilli green (akbar) at Rs 250 per kg, sheep chilli at Rs 100 per kg, garlic green at Rs 180 per kg, green coriander at Rs 200 per kg, garlic dried (Chinese) at Rs 240 per kg, garlic dried (Nepali) at Rs 200 per kg. Likewise, the price of dried fish has been fixed at Rs 200 per kg, fish at Rs 1,000 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 340 per kg, fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg and fresh fish at Rs 300 per kg.
