Kathmandu. Rider has performed in Kathmandu. The Independent Drivers Foundation Nepal has staged a demonstration at Maitighar of Kathmandu demanding the rights of the riders and fair fare. 

The Foundation said that the {{} demonstration was made demanding a solution to the problems faced by the riders in recent times and a proper evaluation of their labor. 

Participants carried placards with slogans such as “Give us a fair price for our labour”, “Stop economic exploitation”, “Reduce commissions ” and “Fair rents are our demands”.

During the demonstration, they have demanded fair fares, to limit the commissions charged by companies to , and to ensure the insurance and safety of riders. In addition, they stressed that riders should be treated equally and should be actively involved in the policy-making process of the state. View the rest of the image:
